  1. Take 250 gms Potatoes small
  2. Make ready Oil 2 tbsp Curd 1/2 cup
  3. Prepare Garlic cloves 2
  4. Make ready 4 Red dry chillies
  5. Get 2 tsp Dhania jeera sabut
  6. Prepare 1 pinch asfoetida
  7. Get to taste Salt and turmeric
  8. Get leaves Coriander
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

The potato masala should thicken and have a right consistency which is not too thick nor thin. Season with salt as per taste. Mix the salt with the rest of the potato masala. Sweet potatoes make a surprisingly delicious addition to a traditional Indian recipe for chana masala.

Steps to make Masaala potato:
  1. Soak red chillies,garlic cloves,dhania and jeera. Grind in a mixer.
  2. Boil potatoes till just tender.Peel them.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai add asfoetida and mustard seeds.When they splutter add ground masaala.
  4. Add potatoes.Add the salt and turmeric. Stir well.
  5. Add garam masaala pdr.
  6. Cook well.Now is the time to add beaten curd.
  7. Mix well.Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
